Certification Exams
The e-Biz+ certificate from CompTIA is a vendor-neutral certification intended for technical and non-technical individuals who work in an e-Business environment. The exam measures knowledge around the basic concepts, key issues and critical technologies of e-Business, supplying IT and business professionals with a foundation for contributing to e-Business solutions.
This certificate is geared toward individuals previously involved in enterprise resource planning (ERP) or electronic data interchange (EDI) projects; business analysts planning to transition into e-Business projects; marketing or sales professionals who need a greater understanding of e-Business concepts and technologies; and management, finance and supply chain professionals who will participate in or oversee e-Business services.
To become certified you must pass the e-Biz+ exam. The exam covers three domains: business knowledge, interpersonal skills, and project management processes. These include strategic planning, contract management, project management, relationship management, relationship management, service management, and business analysis. The CompTIA e-Biz+ certification exam was last updated in March of 2001.
