The CompTIA Home Technology Integrator (HTI+) certification allows career path access points from many industry sectors. Individuals with at least one to two years experience information technology, building trades, electricians, HVAC installers, audio/video integrators and home security technicians would benefit from becoming HTI+ certified. The CompTIA HTI+ certification exam was last updated in December of 2002.The CompTIA Home Technology Integrator (HTI+) certification exam is the leading vendor-neutral certification for technicians servicing the automated home industry. The CompTIA HTI+ certification consists of two exams: Residential Systems (HTO-101) and Systems Infrastructure and Integration (HTO-102).
