The Reference Section is updated for Internet Explorer 4.0 and Netscape Communicator 4.0.

The Gallery section contains graphics files, media clips and other objects that you can include in your own Web pages to enhance their appearance. The gallery includes the following objects:

The Software section contains additional software to help you in your Web page design and creation. Note that the software included here is shareware. Depending upon the shareware company's policies, you may use the software for a short time on a trial basis. After that time period has past, you are expected to either remove the software from your computer or pay the registration fee. The software on this disk is designed for Windows. If you are using a different operating system or wish to learn more about the company and its products, see each software company's Web page located within this section. Animagic
Software that allows you to create your own animated GIFs. Animagic allows you to combine several GIFs into one animated GIF. You can also enhance the GIF using one of Animagic's several transition effects. To install Animagic, open the ZIP file, anim32h.zip at the Animagic Web page. Button Factory
The Silicon Joy Button Factory lets you create your own Java Applet buttons to add interest to your Web page. You can configure the button applet without having to know any Java programming. The Button Factory will also write the HTML code for you, and allow you to paste the code into your Web page. To install Button Factory, run the installation utility, bf1wa.exe located at the Silicon Joy Web page. For more information, see the Silicon Joy Web page.

GifgIfgiF
This program is used to quickly create simple and fast animated
GIFs from screen captures. To install GifgIfgiF, open the self-installing executable program file, ggg32.exe. For more information, open the company Web page.

GIF Construction Kit
The GIF Construction Kit contains several tools to help your work
with your GIFs. With the GIF Construction Kit you can create
animated and transparent GIFs, convert AVI files to animated GIF
format and edit your GIFs with the construction kit's set of
graphical tools. To install the GIF Construction kit, download the program, gifcon32.exe located at the Alchemy Mindworks website at http://www.mindworkshop.com/alchemy/gifconcl.html and then run the installation program. For more information, see the Alchemy Mindworks website.

MapEdit
MapEdit is a program that assists you in creating image maps. With MapEdit, you can generate HTML code for both client-side and server-side image maps. MapEdit's graphical interface allows you to create and edit the image map's hotspot using only your mouse. To install MapEdit, run the installation program, map32dst.exe, located at the Software section's MapEdit Web page. To learn more about the company and its products, see the MapEdit Web page.

Presentationware
Presentationware is software that generates a slide show Java applet. You supply the GIF or JPEG image files, and use Presentationware to control the appearance and timing of the slide show applet. You can also include special transition effects, banner text and background sound. To install Presentationware, unzip the pw022.zip file onto your hard drive. You can learn more about Presentationware by viewing the company Web page.
