What is Microsoft Works 2000?

Who Should Use Works 2000?

Works 2000 is versatile. It works in elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, post secondary schools, and special programs such as adult education. Microsoft touts the program for home and for family use.

The authors use Works 2000 in our Pasewark LTD family-owned business and in our homes. It was, therefore, a "natural" that seven members of our family would author Works 2000.

Those who learn Works 2000 will find it very easy to use Microsoft Office 2000, simultaneously or later. Both programs use the same commands and operations. In fact, because Works is easier to learn than is Office 2000, there may be merit to start with Works 2000 as a prelude to learning the more complex Office 2000.
